What are Owner Shards?
Owner Shard NFTs (OS) are a key foundational component to R.Land and were the first NFTs released by our project.
With their ability to passively produce Resources, while at the same time earning from in-game fees and AtomicHub-fees automatically, they represent the perfect basis to start your personal R.Land journey!
Amongst several other Benefits, Owner Shards can also be used to begin your R.Land Mining Game adventure by trading them in for Land Contracts. Actively playing has the potential to significantly increase your Resource production!
Owner Shards were first obtainable exclusively during the Owner Shard Pack Sale in October 2021.
Trading in Owner Shards for Land Contracts and Owner Shard Blending have reduced the available supply of these assets considerably. The supply will stay limited as there will be no additional sales of Owner Shards Packs in the future!

Benefits
Owner Shards provide a number of unique Benefits depending on their Rarity, such as:
- In-Game Fees: Earn a share of the In-Game Fees from the R.Land Mining Game.
- Whitelisted: Your account will be whitelisted for future drops.
- Voting Rights: Gain Voting Rights on community polls and future project decisions.
- Contests/Giveaways: Get automatically enlisted into special contests and giveaways.
- Early Access: Be among the first to access new features and updates.
- AtomicHub-Fees: Earn a share of the R.Land Collection Fees on AtomicHub.
- Super Secret Blend: Get access to the upcoming Super Secret Blend by combining all four Mythic Owner Shard variants.
Want to actively take part in R.Land's Mining Game and get more Resources? You can trade in Owner Shards in order to receive Land Contracts or mine for free with Public Mining (Free-To-Play) at R.Land!
Owner Shards also provide you with free Daily Actions for in-game use.
Variants
Owner Shards are available in four different variants. Each variant encapsulates and represents one of four different Resources used in R.Land (Circuit, Alloy, rGas and Pixel).
Each different Owner Shard variant automatically produces its respective Resource type, simply by holding them in your WAX Wallet. Resources are needed to create BIT-Tokens and will be used for R.Land's upcoming Crafting Game.
Rarities
Each Owner Shard variant is available in six different rarities ranging from "Common" to "Mythic":

Higher rarities provide additional Benefits and increase your daily Resource production:

Same Benefits and Resource production rates apply to all four Owner Shard variants (Circuit, Alloy, rGas and Pixel).
Blending
Owner Shard NFTs can be blended into higher Rarities. The Variant of the newly created Owner Shard will be random.

The "Super Secret Blend" will be a blend of all four Mythic Owner Shard variants.
NFTs used for Blending will get burned!

Claiming
Resources (Circuit, Alloy, rGas and Pixel) produced by Owner Shards can be claimed anytime. However, there is a bonus reward for not claiming the produced Resources for a certain amount of time:

Claimed Resources will be sent directly to your In-Game Wallet.
If you claim an Owner Shard, the claim bonus will reset!
You can claim your Owner Shards anytime on R.Land.
Once the maximum claim bonus (1 000%) is reached, Owner Shards will continue to produce Resources at this rate until claimed.
Trading in Owner Shards for Land Contracts
Owner Shards can be traded in for Land Contracts by using the dedicated trade-in feature on R.Land.
Simply trade-in an Owner Shard of any rarity or variant (Circuit, Alloy, rGas or Pixel) and receive a Land Contract of the same rarity and variant.
Land Contracts can be used to mine Resources more efficiently by actively playing in the R.Land Mining Game.
If the dedicated trade-in feature doesnt work, simply send the Owner Shards directly to mint.rland to recieve Land Contracts.
